Sash Window Refurbishment and Replacement
As part of a larger refurbishment we can completely overhaul and repair sash windows. This is an excellent and cost effective option where the sashes and glass are in poor condition, fit badly and where access to replacing windows at a high level would require scaffolding.
Each refurbished window undergoes the following treatment:
* All paint removed from existing sash and frame
* Repairs to wood as necessary
* Glass renewed (option to use acoustic glazing)
* Weathering strips and draft proof pile fitted
* Window sash and frames painted
* New sash cords and pulleys fitted
